where? how?

.

I'm supposed to be doing my assignments, but just thought I'd chill out... by myself... with music on. Right now, my broadband doesn't allow me to download music {Piolet}, so right now I've been listening to the top 40 chart on www.take40.com . It's a brilliant way to listen to the ever updated new hits on the charts. I like the tune to the Fergie's new song, called Glamorous. I like the beat. But sometimes it's a let down, cos the song doesn't really mean anything... the tune sounds great but the lyrics are sometimes a bunch of crock or it's meaningless.. I guess nowadays anything that catches the market audience, anything's possible. Where there's $$$$, anything goes.

Speaking of making $$$$$, i came across one of my fren's blogs recently and he blogged about the inhumane way of killing dolphins... As little or great impact these words are, I think after you have watched the video clip of it, it will seriously make u puke or think twice about the social justice around the world. How could anyone kill an animal in a slow & torturing way? Come on... even if you kill a chook, you don't batter the chook around and let it die a painful & suffocating death rite...
Check out the video clip [at your own risk, as the following clip contains very visual graphics which may disgust some viewers]

Dolphin Massacre in Japan

I'm not really an animal activist. HOwever, I'm beginning to develop this critical inquiry of everything around me. Nonetheless, the WAY in which the dolphins were massacred are just plain unacceptable. I do not know how a cow is slaughtered but to my presumption, it would not be in such a..... horrific situation. I think nowadays, any exotic animals are considered very good money..... freaking ppl... what is so good eating dolphins and whales or even dogs!? Next thing we know is that we're eating humans would be acceptable (mabbe their future excuse is...human population...too many alrdy)... ~.~'

The trip MySA planned for are going Melbourne tmr... Total of 12 ppl on that trip. It's considered quite good...considering it's like a last minute planning...sigh.. A number of factors contributed to the low number of people going on the trip. No 1: price is abit expensive. To my reasons, this is a last minute booking with Easter break & school holidays in full swing hence the nearly all fully booked accommodations & transportation are limited ... secondly.. the trip is 5 days 4 nites..going on 2 tours - 1x1-day tour + 1x 3-days tour, the trip inclusive of like half of the meals already.. ANyways...another reason i think that not many ppl go, are because of assgns commitment. I mean, if i didn't haf the amount of assgns i had, i woulda went. And if I had gone, another fren of mine would have gone to Melbourne as well. Oh well... at least more than 10 ppl are going for the Melbourne trip. 12 ppl going for the trip ain't a small group u knoe! lol.. imagine if 30 ppl went...it would be such a big headache to fit EVERYONE in for accommodation + transportation + tours etc. Also the security/safety issue comes in as well. Hehehe, i guess it's still a success that ultimately in the end, there IS a group of people going to Melbourne. ^.^ I try to look at the situation not just in terms of where we failed.... but the approach in how you look at the overall picture does make a difference in how you will set to improve your mistakes next time. No one is perfect. Everyone will make mistakes. Only thing is.... how do you take your mistakes? As a big fat failure and you complain & whinge all about it? Or.. you take a step back and look at the overall results & be happy wif the area that it was ok in and also addresses the problems/setback u had? Aiyah... me going in circle... in another words... do you handle situations in a pessimistic or optimistic way? Don't forget, your actions will affect those around you.

Me... now go back to assgns after crapping my thoughts. ^.^

Enjoy da break!! TAKE CARE! xoxo
