I need more water.... =.='' (this was something completely out of the blue of what I was bloggin about) I can tell when I'm dehydrated (no, not the usual thirstiness).

I was pretty happy the whole day yesterday..more until I can concentrate on doing my work. Pretty bad procrastinating if you'd ask me.. =.=' I still have a 750 words paper i need to write up about "child labour" and how that relates to Australia. I've got another group presentation due Tuesday, which I'm halfway writing up my part =.=' which I'm supposed to email to my other group members by today or tomorrow.

Pfff ~ I've still gotto write up a report for the Mawson Lakes community expo which MySA attending like at the end of May =.=' sorry sorry bah ~ i didn't know we had to write a report on that, cos I didn't think that was one of our events but we did set up a booth at the community expo.

Back to why I was happy yesterday, is because I had a chat to my friend who's now having his training in the US. It was good talking to him to him (via msn) for the first time in a long time since he went there in May this year.

THen later yesterday afternoon, I received an email from Clipsal 500 (if you don't know what it is, Clipsal 500 is the annual car racin event for Adelaide) saying I was one of the successful cast members to be in the Clipsal 500 television commercial film shoot! I was over the moon, as at the beginning, I'd just scroll down the email thinking what the heck I need to do cos all i'm reading is like "Things u need to know now, bla blabla" & also had an attachment "Release Form.pdf" and i'm like "huh".. then I started scrolling back up to the top to see what's the opening line and here I am thinking along the lines of "sorry, you have been not selected to be in the tv commercial". But as I read the first line, it says I've been chosen to be in the final cast members in the tv commercial!

please note: As I have came across some people's view points, this commercial in my interpretation, is having a group of ordinary citizens in the tv commercial to promote Clipsal 500 as a fun family event. This is not some slutty commercial showing the race cars girls etc....

This is anything of the first that I've "won" some competition... I originally signed up to the "Today Tonight" Talent Competition, which they were looking for people to be in the Clipsal 500 tv advertisement. So busybody me, who's always hoping for that chance to win something in any competition (lol), I filled in the form online and put in my 25 words or less in why I'm interested in Clipsal 500 or what Clipsal 500 means to me and attach a photo along with the online form. I just put in one of the lame "25 words or less" and attach a photo I quite like from "self posing" back late last year. Muahaha, I was thinking, Who cares..even if the photo's from late last yr, it is still DEPICTING ME...
Whahaha.. the film shoot will be on August 24 (Saturday) and may run over to August 25 (Sunday) as well, since there's so many others as well.

Okie, back to my work; i promised myself to wake up early and do work b4 i go for meeting this arvo, but hmm, i'd still woke up around the same time as i did yesterday...
