Reflection

.

Wow. It's been 1.5 weeks since I've finished my final teaching prac. Feels good. Why am I feeling the stress of everything now? Stress of looking for a permanent teaching position? Yes I think so ~ it is way harder (or shall I put it simply, less opportunity) to find a permanent teaching position here in metro areas compared to areas at least 100kms away or further. I have found a permanent position advertised about 400km away from Adelaide CBD.

Although if I do get this job, it means I would have relocate up to Whyalla (where the school is located). This is a full time permanent position. On the brighter side, if i do get this job, it would be I will be earning full income! woohoo! Although when you are living on rent and food on your own, savings do play a huge part if you want to invest or looking to purchase a property (for future). You don't save alot (unless you really cut down on coffees, prepacked veges, dining out and unnecessity items)..... oh well...

i'm just rambling on; food for thought; what IF i was actually offered this job - permanent job... would I take it? should I take it? What happens 1 year down the track? 2 years. Should I relocate again? Or should I not move at all now just to save the later decision..... Although it would be stupid of me not to take this job if i was accepted because i cud be earning $$$$ now instead of bumming around waiting for temporary relief teachings (TRT) positions in the city (they would call u up in the morning if the school needs you for teh day to do TRT).... Oh well, I think i will just earn money in the mean time if i can and then decide later what to do when my honey moves back or decides to go somewhere else.

I've got an interview on the permanent teaching position on Monday, so wish me all the best!! xoxoxoxoxoxo
