First Christmas Card 2008!

Okie, it may sound kiddish.... but I've just got my first Christmas card for 2008!. What is special about it, is it's my 1st Xmas card from a student :)

Hehe, told you i have a lot of first time stuff.... :P

I need to get back to writing students reports.... it's taking me forever.... Not that i haven't done it, it's just that i need to make it more PERSONALISED.....so really, i'm deleting the comments i wrote in there as they are very general & can really refer to any kid. So yes.

Okay, I knew I missed out on talking about another point.
YES, first time being locked in a computer lab. MY OWN COMPUTER LAB. Ok ok, this is what happened:

Class starts at 8;40am. I go into the computer lab (i have 2 computer labs) and this one is the bigger one (with about 20 computers) at 8:20am to set up my lesson. I have Lesson 1 and 2 (double period) with my Year 10 Programming class. Anyhow, there i was, happily writing on the whiteboard what they need to do in the double period..... then suddenly, the cleaner (whom isn't happy with me whom she thinks i've 'complained' about her cos she doesn't clean my office properly) walk past my computer lab outside, and I saw her walking past, so I thought 'oh yea'. Never did I know that she bloody came back and started arming the room. (It's a security device which we use to secure the room with alarm, so everyday after sch, i would set the alarm on in the computer lab and the cleaner in the mornings would disarm the alarm to clean the rooms). So there I was, at 8:30am, the bloody cleaner came back and set the bloody alarm on from the outside! I was like "What the??" and by the time i went to the door, she was gone (down the footpath). I'm like "shit". Don't know if the alarm will go off....cos I haven't open the door yet. Anyhow, couple of minutes later, The librarian next door (Library is next door) came over to check the lab cos apparently the siren went off in the library and it was deafening them. I could not hear anything from my lab. There is a door btw my lab and the library which is set on alarm so that door can never be opened unless it's emergency. Anyhow, so then it's all good. Then a minute later, the IT Support, from down the other building, came up to see what is going on! As probably she has got a alarm on her office somewhere that this lab's security alarm is going off (oooooo who has broken in!?)

I really am not happy with her loh. She never set the alarm on after she has cleaned it anyways, so why the hell she is setting it back on, when it's only 10minutes till lesson time starts?!? Annoying. So now, people think I didn't know how to set the alarm off when i go into the room - but the thing in, how the hell i get into the room in the first place if i don't set the alarm off?

To set alarm on, i have to swipe 3 times. After that, 1 swipe to deactivate the alarm. 1 swipe is also to open the door. Cheesh......
