long weekend

So very nice to be sleeping in on a Friday morning :) Long weekend!! In NT, we get a public holiday, just a day off for people to go to the Darwin Show. This would be my 2nd year missing out on the Show....last year i missed it in Adelaide and I came up to Darwin but I also JUST missed the Darwin Show last year, as I came up a few days late. This year, I have no one to go with...as my dd isn't here and others are also just going as a couple. Oh well.......heard it is way smaller than the Adelaide Show but it's something that everyone's looking forward to. Another thing that the Darwinian look forward to, is the Darwin Cup, another public holiday in a week's time also. Yay, another long weekend in 1 week's time. hahaha

Man I have pile high of work to do; still to do on my list. Priority: HIGH. Why am I sitting here and blogging? Just that it's one of those days where I have time to myself. Eg not going out, long weekend, sleep in.....it's all good. :) *Big relief* But yes, will get my butt onto the next thing i have to do very soon.

Wanted to makan laksa from the night market tonight but so happen they are all at the Darwin show. We have stalls that move from places to places every week and they are highlights for Darwinians. But because now is the time for Darwin Show, the stalls all go there so they aren't in their usual place tonight (which is in my suburb). SIGH...... i wan my laksa..... they have really nice laksa here....well the nicest that i've tasted so far in darwin
