start of something new

End of Week 5 of uni already....... ~.~

Lotsa assgns, labs, tutes, pracs, research piling up? Yuips, that sounds so familiar. All have been there done that. If not, certainly are going thru it right now! :)

Haha, why am I smiling even though it's stressful? Haha, i've learnt to enjoy each and everyday that life throws at me; be it at uni, or at home or even on the streets. Yes, I do get stressed out to the point i dream of my assgns & sleeping less hours and came to tears becos of the frustration of not able of getting the assgn done. There are ALWAYS ups and downs in your life..... But no one's perfect. When one is always so seemingly cheerful on the outside, maybe there are silent cries on the inside? U may never knoe... I came across some ppl who just picks at the slightest thing; for eg...me trying to make conversation with this guy (he's a fren of a fren), so yea, asked him where he's from. He went on and on about isn't it obvious where he's from? etc etc.... Personally, i thot he was from some other country cos of his English accent and looks, so pls FORGIVE ME FOR ASKING A PROPER QUESTION!!! geez.... i guess he was pissed off with me asking him where he is from....he went on and on about isn't it obvious that he's from M'sia and said my fren thought he looked like he's from m'sia and ... bla bla blah...... yea, it's a small thing but he yet can make it into such a long winded thing about HOW COULD I NOT GET WHERE HE"S FROM GIVEN HIS LOOKS..... so i gave up talking to him after that....

Yay, Royal Adelaide Show is coming!!! It's from the 1st to 9th Sept! Hmm i wonder who is going.... eeeee, if u're going, tell me!!

Hahaha, this reminds me.....in tute yesterday, we have a really funny tutor called David K. He picks on ppl to contribute to the tutorial questions, but he's generally quite a funny bloke, given his "geekiness"....Actually it's really one person answer one little question and going around the room> Then it came to this Asian guy at the back..... Ok ok, the tute questions involves us to write machine language codes, so we're supposed to do a line each.

David (tutor): So what do you think the next line is, Chris?
Chris: Answer is.. (umm) sgti (umm) r1,r2,r3
David: ok, so now we're onto "Asian guy".... what do you think the next line is?
Asian guy: *thinking thinking* .......... "Ahhhhhh........"
David: ok, so we have "Ahhh" as a variable/label name [class broke into laughter]

Okie, the whole point was that the Asian guy said Ahhhh was becos he din't know the answer but said "Ahhhh" as 'i'm struggling'. The label names we're supposed to put int eh answer can be anything meaningful, such as L1, or Loop or X. but since the guy said Ahhhh, David tried to make him more comfortable by putting Ahhh as a label name. Hahaha. *okie, if u didn't get the humour in this, dun worry.* :)

I'm really looking forward to bball this Sunday; haven't had exercise for a long time alrdy........ lol..... i always come home after bball with a dry and rough throat, cos all the yelling & laughing mode i've switched to when I'm playing bball. LOL......
