Hey yo all... My weekend has been a whirlwind of fast paced events.. lol

On friday, i went to uniSA Malaysian Student Association (MySA) and it was great meeting many people. There were quite a few positions open, eg Event Co-ordinator, Welfare Officer, Publicity Officer, Website Officer and Newsletter Officer. I nominated myself lo (paiseh la.. dunno anyone there and i nominate myself) lol.. but yea, basically there were 4 of us who ran for the Event Co-ordinator (EC)..there are 2 positions open. There's actually 3 EC but one is taken by one of the guy from the prv year member. Den each of us had to introduction ourselves and why we wanna run for the position & basically, after that, 4 of us went outside while everyone (members & non members) voted who should be the ECs lo. THen when we came in, me and this guy also from Mawson Lakes campus, got the position. Heeeheee..happy i got the role :) it will be a challenge & an opportunity to experience and expand my horizons of skills :P

Then today we had the 1st committee meeting... basically my role as an EC is to plan & co-ordinate the events for this year. I guess all the itsy bitsy details are planned by us in regards to transportation, accommodation & price... esp the major event is in the Easter break ~ trip to Melbourne. We (EC) need to plan what dates, price - transportation, how to get there, what to see, accommodation, etc etc etc... so this will be a huge & challenging task. But it will be an eye opener and expand my horizons.

My future weeks to come will be essay writing & fulfilling my EC role in the uniSA MySA. So probably there won't be much updates on my blog. But please do visit once in a while to check up on me okie? :P
