I should totally not be blogging right now; i could be using it to plan out my term work or write up lesson plans....

But I have half the clue what I should be teaching in class =.=

But yay, finally made a big decision to finally accept the offer and relocate up to Darwin for the job. I will be up there at least for 6 months before coming back to Adelaide for holidays.

I will definitely miss everything here; comfy home, the settled -in environment of Adelaide, the familiar places and roads and family and friends. Time for me to make something out of my life on my own. This is the first permanent job I have (in my life) and I'm scared of the transition.....from being uni student to holidaying-while-looking-for-job to being a full time teacher (all 3 within 2 months). I have worked a couple of places in my life as work experience or volunteer but never had paid work before.

Ooo, speaking of never had paid work before, today was my first day for TRT. And ironically, will be the last TRT for me (at least for a long while). It's funny... i just started registering for TRT a few weeks back and then when i got my first TRT, i have to move and take up a permanent job somewhere else.

Right now I'm not that excited..... yet..... I still can't get an accommodation (rent) up in darwin; unbelievable. They would not "on hold" or rent the property who HASN"T seen the PHYSICAL place. Apparently Darwin has a shortage of rental properties thus having at least 20 people apply for any single housing property. =.= WALAU, got so much mehhhh. Don't know bah ~ that's why i plan to head up earlier to FIND A PLACE to stay. Headache headache. Then now i also can't relocate my stuff cos i haven't got a place up there to put it to. Bleh ~ at least i'll have my darling car with me up there....

I'm gonna be homesick.... :'( Yes i have lived away from home before. But this time it's kinda different again. I'll be earning my own money, working on my own, living on my own, no relatives or family or bf near me.

I also haven't really started packing yet. Just put all my Very important BOOKS and clothes in my luggage first only ~ the rest i haven't even touch.
