is this the truth

It was in the Australian Reader's Digest that I came across a short article about the 'Archeological discovery of the Bible'. I wrote to them to get the booklet about "archeology proves the Bible". I just received that booklet today. Haven't read it yet, but in the Contents, it contains:
1) How Genesis was written
2) The testimony of Babylonian cities
3) The New Testament bears witness
4) The New Testament corroborates the Old
5) The Bible reveals God's Plan

I've been aware of the Book of Mormon, which is a false teaching... some time ago, the preachers/pastors/priests (those ppl from one of the church - can't remember what their church is called) came to my place & preached about that book & even gave me a copy. But later I found out that the Bible is the one and only "book"....

So back to this little booklet I've asked for, it comes from the Berean Bible Institute in Rosanna, Victoria. I have an extra booklet (if anyone of you, the more spiritually mature Christian who wants to have a look at it & can tell me whether it's a true teaching/account of events or not, pls feel free to get it from me).

Also in the mail today, is a flyer about "The Bible explains why Russia will invade Israel - special public talk". In it, it talks about the rise of the Russian powers should not be ignored and how the Bible "clearly speaks of a power to the north of Israel which would arise in the last days & be involved in the bold move into the Middle East to grasp its wealt. This leads to ARMAGEDDON" (quote from that flyer). This is the first I"ve heard of...about Russia & Israel. Is this true or just another false teaching/prophecy? Eventhough I have never read the entire Bible yet, I've never really hear people talking about Russia & how it's going to destroy Israel with its power??? Wat the?

Speaking of powers, North Korea is ready to have nuclear tests, which means they have mass weapons of destruction & which if they do decide to go ahead with the tests, they would be a WWIII cos US & other countries want to sanction it. OH man.... what is this world coming to... the hunger for power, hunger for independence, hunger for revenge, hunger for peace.

The other day I wrote what my complete life would be da da da... but I think I left out a point.. That is, to fulfil my life on earth & fulfilling my purpose... THat purpose, I'm yet to find out what is it I'm supposed to do.. And that's why I'm slowly discovering God. I'm thankful for everything He has done to & for me.

The beautiful things in life are right in front of us, but the people we have become, the evolution, from generations before us, have transformed us into such complicated beings. All of us are so materialistic nowadays; even though we have $$, the more we earn, the more stingy we become. sigh.... i hope i don't become a stingy old lady one day... Even my dad says that to me. wahahaha... NO LA, not that he thinks i'm stingy now, but he don't want me to become like his sister. Oops, I hope no one is reading this that is close enough to my auntie & tells her this.... :S
