On a freezing day @ the computer lab in F building in Mawson Lakes... heavily raining outside..... not only I get to sit next to an Indian (no offense) but he has an Indian friend standing next to him. After a while that they conversed in their own language, the Indian guy standing, started singing. Yes, singing.. =.=' not humming or mumbling, but singing! What more can you ask for on a rainy day when u can't escape the open outdoors? hehe.. it wasn't excruciating.... just surprising. Ooooo, no, he's just singing to himself =.=' That's my highlight for today. Yes, it's sad case for me to be my "highlight" for today, but... my days aren't as exciting as some other people's.
My crappy highlight for today was getting one of my assignments back today and that course' average grade. Depressing for the assignment...hence depressing for the overall course's average grade...that assignment is 40% =.=' another assignment also 40% and oral presentation 20%. This course's grade is crappy.. and another course as well...aiyah, dunno why.. but guess i'm not critical enough in the essay ~.~ *SIGH* 2 out of 5 courses with crappy results =.='''' Pissed also... Attribution theory: is this related to luck or effort? Do i blame myself for not putting enough effort in it? Do I blame my luck for having a hard marker who's my lecturer and tutor as well? *sigh* I MAY not spend as much time on this course than I do for other courses..... hmm...so it's like a tradeoff for getting better marks for other courses? Yes, I need to work harder at SOSE... it's also one of my weaker points in this course; i have no foundations in SOSE; only reason i took SOSE is because Accounting subject is in SOSE... =.=' SOSE is a dumping ground for all subjects that doesn't fit into other learning areas such as Accoutning, Economics, Business, Politics, Women's Studies, Aboriginal studies, Legal/Law, etc. Sigh.. but the things we are doing now in SOSE are Geography type of subjects... ~ So not my area~~ *sigh* My intention in the long run is to teach Accounting/Business and IT in high school, not SOSE (such as Geography & HIstory).. =.=''
