First time

I think I had a lot of "first time" in doing something lately. I shall jot them down.

August - present
- 1st time speaking to a parent on a phone regarding their child not meeting assignment deadline
- 1st time emailing parents regarding their child's progress
- 1st time having Year 12 parents teachers interviews (nerve wrenching!! but it went well)
- 1st pay slip!!!
- 1st job ever!
- 1st (and only) time I've really had to control my temper while talking to a student
- 1st time being touched by students (Aboriginal Year 8 girls) mind you, that is how they communicate and be warm and friendly to someone; by touching the other person. (I was touchy touchy on my hair, shoulders, arms & hands)
- 1st time learning Scratch (beginner programming application)
1st time learning Javascript
- 1st time learning Flash (Actionscript)

2008 - July
- 1st time falling for a friend and it worked out great =)

Okie, time for me to rest/chill. I've had a super long day with 2hr class obervation by my line manager, missed my lunch but had tea time, meetings and Yr 12 parents teachers interviews. Luckily i've only got 4 year 12 students and luckily they've booked me in from 4 to 4:40pm. Interviews are allocated from 4pm - 7pm.

Next week I'll have the Yr 11 and 10 parents teachers interviews; The Yr 11s i have like 25 students and the Yr 10s, i have about 22 students. Note the low numbers of student i have; that's because these subjects are Programming IT subjects, not just your regular IT subjects with no programming.
