barbie girls

I've recently browsed through many friends' friends photos in facebook and it occurred to me how VAIN so girls can be and go through extreme lengths to mak themselves 'pretty'.

Let me paint the picture for you..... someone like XiaXue, but even more vain than her. Thick, black, fake eyelashes,
Thick, black/brown eyeliner,
Tinted eyelashes as well,
Multitude of lotions, washes, face spa to produce a smooooth face,
Loads of powder/foundation/whatever girls put on these days,
Dyed & curled hair (mind you, these girls probably visit the hair saloon once every 2-3 weeks with >2 hours spent curling or managing their hair)
Possibly another >2 hours more per day spent in front of the mirror for other purposes....
Always damn skinny (like starve 3 days, then eat one meal only kinda look)
Fashionable & never caught out with the same outfit twice (within a short period of time) and always, act cute/innocent/pure in front of the cam.

Oh My Gosh. I see these girls nowadays that I just feel sorry for them loh; so much to do and they spend all the time looking pretty and gorgeous and sometimes, rather like a barbie girl or, Asian bimbo loh.

Maybe I can't look like that and I'm insulting them? Nahh, I do admire people with inner and natural beauty with little makeup and so on, but when one go to extreme lengths JUST to make themselves *pretty*, it's tooo vain for me. BLEH.......VAIN VAIN VAIN VAIN VAIN. Cos they also speak soft and I'm like ..... 'hello.......didn't you eat rice is it for a month?......can't even speak up'. =.=
